Vashti Cunningham, campionessa del Mondo indoor  di Portland 2016, ha vinto il titolo statunitense indoor nel salto in alto in corso di svolgimento all’ Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex di Staten Island, NY. Cunningham, primato personale di 1,99, ha vinto la gara con un salto di 1,96 molto consistente. La Cunningham ha vinto con la stessa misura che 3 anni fa gli valse il titolo di campionessa mondiale.
